Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 5-2 against the Yankees in August when it could easily have been the other way around. Thanks guys. Hope you stink it up against the Jays next week though.

The Yan Gomes trade included a secret stipulation about beating the Yankees five times in August two years from the transaction. Nice work.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Ya the Indians don't get the recognition they deserve. Did what the Twins failed to do.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2015 Author Posted August 24, 2015 I want Minnesota to take the final WC spot, assuming the Royals, Jays, Yankees and Astros fill out the other 4 spots.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Good thread. I can appreciate the Cleveland Indians.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Cleveland rocks! Cleveland rocks! (O.K. I'll show myself out)
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 But isn't it Hot in Cleveland ! Next Lol
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2015 Author Posted August 24, 2015 Good thread. I can appreciate the Cleveland Indians. I can appreciate the fact that they can be a really good team with that pitching staff, especially in the playoffs, and that they won't be a factor against the Jays' playoff hopes this year, outside of the three games they have left against them. The Indians next year will be everyone's favorite darkhorse team.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Hello Cleveland! OK, I'll show myself out too.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I predicted Cleveland would win 3 of 4. Didn't see the 1 loss coming in the Salazar game though.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 The Indians have some good starters, they won't be easy. Good job on the yanks.
Dr Negative Verified Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 tbh I don't understand how Cleveland has been bad this year. They appear to have a pretty decent team on paper, certainly better than the Twins.

Really bad defense, no third baseman, Michael Bourn sucks, Swisher sucks, Gomes out for a fairly large part of the year and hasn't hit well, Santana not hitting well etc.

Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 But Brantley and Kipnis are soooo goood!
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Nobody's posted the hastily made Cleveland tourism video yet? Okay then, I'll do it...

Hope you stink it up against the Jays next week though. I appreciated a great series against the Indians. Best of luck to them in the World Series!
