nextyear Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I knew someone would find a reason to complain about Gibby tonight. I could just hear the outcry if they brought Sanchez in in a mop up roll like Lowe last night. For some of you, Gibby can't do anything right. Enjoy the wins and stop trying to find something to bitch about. But he allowed the Blue Jays to use up too many of their future runs in one night
Followthelight Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Lol brother. Still confused as to why you are even crying? This is a DISCUSSION board..people will discuss everything jays from management moves, rosters, lineup, in game management, etc.. People are in their right to discuss gibbons management of games and disagree with it, without being trolled by keyboard warriors on a power trip. Do you want to censor things that bother you ? Just ignore the topics you don't like, the world does not revolve around you, everyone is different. Is it that hard to just move on?
Praxis Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Wtf is going on with Devon Travis? Second opinion sought, no baseball activities: is our medical staff this suspect?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Sorry, genuinely confused. Smoak hadn't entered the game yet and neither had Hague. Why was Smoak ineligible to pinch hit for EE? Smoak was in at 1B was he not? If not, yeah, he could take the DH position.

nextyear Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Gibbons in the post game interview looked very tired. He was also yawning at the start of the game. Maybe it is jet-lag, but luckily he isn't out there playing on the field.

nextyear Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Yeah we really dodged a bullet didn't we The Blue Jays managed to pull out the game anyway. I was just pointing it out, it seemed funny to me to see the manager yawning just before the game, I can't imagine seeing it in hockey or football.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Rangers have pulled into the second wild card. Of all the teams I would least like to face them, they are the only ones among Twins, Orioles, and Angels to have an ace. Still better than Tampa.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Great Team win again tonight!!!!!
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Great Jays atmosphere at the game tonight in the stands. Sounded like "car crashes" when they made contact. Colla had himself a game on both O and D. And JD just keeps rollin'

I told that asshat off saying derogatory crap about your girl.
Jayday Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 We got a lot of s***** hitters in the lineup as well: Colabello Navarro Pillar Revere Pennington Hahahahaha .. after the fact ...this makes you look like a dummy ...now I'm not saying you are a dummy, u're no diff than many of the others with very poor predictive cognizant abilities.
Jayday Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Jim you're a good guy but JD has had much better years then Carter has ever had. ?????????????????????? You even know what your saying ..?? Josh has only played , like 4 -5 seasons , and this is his best year so far. Now if he stays healthy the next 8 years he could surpass what carter did. Not saying that carter is one of the greats.. but he was consistent and had a decent career..josh has a way to go yet.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 When this team is playing with all it's pistons moving, there's no stopping them, no matter what team they're up against.

Virgil_Hiltz Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Lmao. Carter career WAR 18 and if it wasn't for the homer Carter would be remembered as another "good" hitter. Even at that "good" could be debatable.

Managing baseball every night is probably pretty stressful and Gibby isn't exactly young. I wonder what he even does after games? Probably hits up a steak joint with the other coaching staff.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 STFU MJ!!!! cf I love you too Spank..... Go Jays!! PS: You still have not explained what /who MJ is.
