I'm not mad, I'm stoked to be enjoying great baseball on a regular basis. The purpose of this thread wasn't to say that Goins is suddenly a good player, and in fact, all the caveats North mentioned on the first page, I had already provided them in the OP. I'm not afraid of making mistakes; I thought I read somewhere that Goins had been hot since July so I extended the sample that far back without thinking twice.

 

I don't get into debates with Hurl because he made it evident a long time ago that his biases prevent him from viewing this team objectively. The reason I obliged BTS on his behalf yesterday was because I always thought he was one of the more mature guys of your bunch and I've always respected his opinion. I don't usually see him bottom-feeding on easy targets like Org and Boxy do whenever they throw in their snarky two-bit commentary. Based on his posts in this thread though, maybe I gave him too much credit.

 

I don't really care that you guys don't like me and that I don't fit in with you because most of you are flat out s*** people. You use your numbers to gang up on others on a daily basis and you try and stifle anybody that doesn't agree with you. As much as you'd probably like to get me "mad", I'm not going to let your cringey late-night hassling ruin my enjoyment of this team right now.
