KevinGregg Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Has this still been a thing this season? Is this part of why he is being used on short rest today? To help out Price?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I think you should think this post through, and then probably delete it.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Starting Dickey against KC will definitely help Price against the Twins.
Rajais Mitten Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 You never know maybe the twins are watching on TV?

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Has this still been a thing this season? Is this part of why he is being used on short rest today? To help out Price? The pitcher that bears your SN possessed a similar level of intelligence to this.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Actually kinda stupid not to use the Dickey effect for the Twins series though
Followthelight Verified Member Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Has this still been a thing this season? Is this part of why he is being used on short rest today? To help out Price? No going back from this lol. How will it help Price against a different team?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 They will have to deal with the Price effect instead. Dickey-Price-whoever would be hell on earth
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 No going back from this lol. How will it help Price against a different team? Well there clearly is going back from pretty much anything considering you're on your 14th account

KevinGregg Verified Member Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 Honest mistake, could happen to anyone. Seriously though, if there is any merit to the dickey effect still, it might benefit the team to have price follow him for the rest of the season

If there is anything to the dickey effect, and I expect there is in games where he goes 7+, I think Hutch stands more to gain.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Starting Price tomorrow means he faces the Yankees in both of our upcoming series. It was the right move.

Seriously though, if there is any merit to the dickey effect still, it might benefit the team to have price follow him for the rest of the season Evidence from the past has shown a tangible positive effect. Don't see why that would change now, don't think anyone's done an analysis recently.
baloojayz Verified Member Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Man it would be sweet if we could change back and forth between Dickey and Price mid at bat...
