TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Apparently just "an offday". Wtf? He just had a day off!
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Maybe he's 0 for 3 historically against Ventura. This is idiotic.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Well its a lot for him to change countries I am pretty sure he can use an offday
43211234 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Might be a minor injury, despite what they're saying. Gibby can't be this dumn.
Bigben Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I'm confused, is gibbons trying to lose today, not the greatest lineup he could field...
RIPEXPOS Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 He might be a lil fatigued, after his huge debut, he's struggled at the plate a lil bit.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 This is Troy Tulowitzki. You guys had to know what we were getting into. Weiss did the same thing. Who cares? 100 games of Tulo >>>>>> 162 games of most shortstops in the league
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Tulo is probably 0-1 with a K lifetime against Ventura and Gibbons wanted to play the odds.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Might be a minor injury, despite what they're saying. Gibby can't be this dumn. That would be much much worse
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Well its a lot for him to change countries I am pretty sure he can use an offday I suppose he did have to take a rush flight to Colorado from Chicago and then rush his ass immediately from Colorado to Toronto. Fine, I guess. Still pretty sure this is a huge series and every advantage should be taken to win. f***ing DH the guy.
Virgil_Hiltz Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 4 scheduled days off in August. and with recently being traded with a young family he probably still feels overwhelmed. I like this move, with the Twins coming in here Monday might as well as have TT with a relatively peace of mind and settled in for that series. These guys are husbands and fathers first then ball players!
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Remember, it's Junior Jays Saturday and none of the kids would be able to pronounce his last name.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 4 scheduled days off in August. And playing the best team in the American League today
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Why not DH him? Cause Edwin? I dunno. I hate him not playing today.
