Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 "If the Orioles don't win the AL East"... So, do they just like, issue helmets to people when they declare themselves Orioles fans, or what? If you're a plus member, you get a more protective one. By default I think they just ship you a tinfoil hat.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 "Visit beautiful Baltimore - at least you probably won't get raped!" I'd be an amazing spokesman.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Baltimore Population: 626,848 Violent crime rate: 1,417 per 100,000 residents Baltimore's violent crime rate fell about 5% last year but the Atlantic Coast city is still plagued with drugs and poverty and ranks in the top 15 U.S. cities for all violent crimes but forcible rape. http://www.forbes.com/pictures/mlj45jggj/7-baltimore/[/size] And that guy's worried about "sars". lmao

Followthelight Verified Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 lol. TO is rated way higher then Baltimore for best cities to live, Baltimore is a hole.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 And that guy's worried about "sars". lmao I remember coming into Toronto during the whole SARS over reaction crisis. they where pointing heat sensors at people as they walked through the airport. My daughter had a bought of the flu and it was way too much drama for a kid to go through. I also remember the hoof and mouth crisis where you had to walk through a chemical solution to get through the airport.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 Interesting take? I still think that the Blue Jays have a pitching Achilles. Well, he was the guy who said: No facts are necessary.

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I agree our stadium is s*** for baseball. Not sure how well our concrete stadium will burn to the ground though. Toronto usually ranked in the top 10 cities in the word, SARS must be doing something right I believe Toronto has passed Mellbourne for the number 1 spot to live in the world. I'm not 100% sure if that was just one poll or the overall consensus.

Statman Verified Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Orioles fans always trash our pitching but their pitching sucks and we crush Chen. They may have a slightly better pen but thats up for debate. Orioles don't scare me at all. We just need to learn how to pitch Chris Davis and we fine. Davis is an easy out, even cheating hopped up on adderall. Breaking balls out of the strike-zone and fastballs high and in. Jones scares me MUCH more.

(tied) O's #6 FIP: Jays # 13. O's 8th. So while we can say the O's BP has had better results we probably have the better BP going forward especially when considering the additions we have made.

Statman Verified Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Yup, Davis has a lot of holes in his swing. Jones is a great player though, those meat head fans don't deserve him He sure does especially if you get ahead 0-2, 1-2 in the count. Pound breaking balls down in the zone. If he doesn't swing at those he loves to whiff on the high and inside fastball. He can't hit it but he loves to swing at it for some reason.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 took so much digging Thanks for doing the legwork. What did you end up using as the search term that found it?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Thanks for doing the legwork. What did you end up using as the search term that found it? "moredcai" blue jay oriole gif Someone on reddit made a reference to the cartoon show Mordecai (a blue Jay) on that episode of the Cleveland Show, like "I found Mordecai on the Cleveland Show" or something. It was like my 6th search and took way too much time but worth it because f*** those stupid Oriole shitheads
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 This is a great post, lol: I actually understand his point. The Yankees are the Yankees. They'll always get their attention. People will always adore them (or hate them). However the Jays are like that peer in class who suddenly starts getting As on everything. You know that while they do some smart things that they also have a tendency to cut corners and even all out copy answers on tests (ie having their little pitch calling dweeb in the outfield). Suddenly though, they're getting ahead of you by their dirty tactics. The Rays were similar, but it was more "I wish I/we were that smart" rather than the feeling I have about the Jays. http://40.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lq6onfNNyS1r1thtao1_500.jpg
