Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Yes, but I hope that will change. then start cheering for colabello to get a ball to his knuckle with me. That's the only way it's happening with this retard manager.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I'd wait until the end of next week to start even thinking that. next 11 days will decide if are pretenders or contenders. 4 vs KC, 4 vs Twins and then 3 in NY. Jays need to roll off 8 wins in that stretch and sweep either NY or the Twinkies. That's kind of it in a nutshell. They have to get through a tough team, make up ground, win a number in a row before anyone should really get their hopes up. However, with the fans tonight, the big trade, it does kind of make you feel like it a little bit, at least for tonight's game, but reality is there's a lot of ground to be made up in a short period of time. They can't afford to lose many more games especially against those in the division and the WC race.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Holy crap... next 11 games will be hardcore!!!

glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 The Yankees actually lost a game. Shocking. Cut the lead to 5 before the Yankee Stadium series. Make it mean something. It's at 7 now.

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Last night was great, but some guys getting so excited about the debut (some even squirting apparently) makes me chuckle. Headline on Sportsnet MLB is "Tulo performance is why Jays made trade". Whether he started 0 for 22 or did what he did last night we know the reasons for the trade and a few ABs good or bad doesn't change anything in evaluating the deal. I would like it regardless.
baloojayz Verified Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Holy f*** Troy Tulowitzki is a Blue Jay. I remember hoping we acquired Tulo or Altuve when we were looking for help at 2B before the season started knowing at the same time that it would never happen. Pretty crazy that it not only has happened, but was actually being discussed seriously back then.

I like it more because he doesn't make routine plays at SS as if fumbling a heart like a hot potato during a transplant, that alone is worth it (plus the offensive perks of course).
