Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 He was struggling from the very first. Were you watching the game? Gibby by should have taken him out after the first hit in the 4th. Tepera was ready. So, you're wrong... I'll give you the chance to do a bit of research and come back and explain to the class what you've learned. I'll expect a report on why you were wrong on my desk by next Friday.

Check out the box score. You think that is an impressive pitching line. Put the report on my desk, fool. Even Estrada would probably say he was gassed or didn't have it. 94 pitches in four innings. Eight hits.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 He did pitch on Tues so that would be short rest Yeah, you're right, but he's pencilled in as tomorrow's starter, so short rest it is.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Well, we can still win another series. Let's get em tomorrow
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Yeah, you're right, but he's pencilled in as tomorrow's starter, so short rest it is. Let's hope it doesn't affect our iron man

Even Estrada would probably say he was gassed or didn't have it. Starting pitchers with a line that Estrada had after 3 innings aren't pulled from the game by any manager unless it's the playoffs. Especially when the next day's SP is in question and the pen might have to be relied on more.

In retrospect, the Jays should have paid money to Felix Hernandez's mom to have an abortion 30 years ago... So, basically, you're claiming that you'd like it if Felix Hernandez was never born, you inhuman monster!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Let's hope it doesn't affect our iron man Nah, he has a rubber arm.

Maahfaace Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Anyone know the stats for pitc hers when Navarro catches over martin? Booze induced maybe but it seems like the starters s*** the bed more often when he's catching

Retrospect, etc is a silly argument.

No, a pitcher who has been pitching well lately, and who had a reasonable line up to that point does not get pulled. You are a revisionist crazyperson. Stop trying to pretend otherwise.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 CERA...is this real life??? 100% sure that was a joke, at least I hope it was. Either that or I drank myself to death tonight and this is my own personal hell...
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 CERA...is this real life??? Oh FFS, it's all I have at this hour. I know it's not all that meaningful of a stat but it's something

pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Don't worry gents, I edited a post I thought was in the wrong thread, but put the exact same sentiments in a post right after. I'm still one hell of an amazing guy.
Anti and uncle pit bull Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Yes, let him throw 100 pitches. He did not resemble the pitcher in his previous five or six starts.
