BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I'm callin it. Jays beat King Felix tonight with half of Canada in front of the home town crowd (Seattle).
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Let's Go Blue Jays!!!!!....we can do it!!!!
SSTP Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Martin is like 1/17 vs. the King, good spot to give him a rest
flafson Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 To show them why they need to trade for him.
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 I am expecting another great game from the Estrada/Navarro duel. I hope it will be similar to the game last Sunday against Archer in which Estrada pitched very well and it was reported that Navarro called all the pitches. I predict a good offensive game from Navarro tonight. I think Gibbons is doing the right thing by resting Martin a couple of times week so that if the Blue Jays make it to the playoffs, Martin will be healthy I am looking forward to this game, primarily because of the pitching matchup. Go Jays go.

Seriously excellent job, you should put this on a resume.

Apparently with 6096 posts you seem to consider this forum to be your territory and others can't disagree with you. It is not a troll account. I have lived in the GTA for 33 of the last 35 years (probably longer than you have been alive). I have been completely honest, if the Expos were still in Montreal then I would have little interest in the Blue Jays. When I moved to Toronto from Nova Scotia in 1980, I thought that Torontonians were extremely rude and arrogant. Hamiltonians are much nicer people even though they live only an hour from Toronto. When I read posts by people such as you it reinforces my mental picture of the arrogant Torontonian, and it is almost enough for me to want the Blue Jays to lose, since you are a really jerk and a Blue Jays fan.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Why is Dinner hitting 6th? No idea why.. but Navarro was going to play today anyway, as Martin has started 3 straight and there's a day game tomorrow. Navarro would've played yesterday if Hutch had pitched.

nextyear Verified Member Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 It is too bad that the Blue Jays weren't called the Toronto Canadians. They are representing baseball in Canada to many fans in places like Calgary, Edmonton, Regina and Vancouver who would normally be rooting against Toronto in hockey and CFL football. I grew up in Nova Scotia rooting for the Boston Bruins in the NHL and I never will root for the Maple Leafs.
