intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 I don't even know what this means. It means nothing. Something goes wrong and grown men lose all reason. Blowing a 7-run lead = finding a way to win, valuing pitching and defense.
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 I don't even know what this means. Kansas expects to win because of last year and Toronto after 22 years of losing expects to lose.
bill Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 wow this game has really magnified the Jays weaknesses today. Lots of offense horrible pen, and shaky defense
Ehjays Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Its games like these that turn your season around. When you come back from an 8-0 lead on a division leading team like KC you don't turn around the very next inning and relinquish the lead. Gibbons needs to be fired after this game or someone traded to show that there is some sort of FO support. This is a season defining game. Lets see what AA does.
LTR Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Team comes back from a 0-7 deficit and Reyes blows it by letting a ball threw his legs, not sure there's anything more deflating.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Kansas expects to win because of last year and Toronto after 22 years of losing expects to lose. I seriously doubt players have that mentality.
bill Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 there you go mustakis missed that grounder also so it isn't really Reyes fault the infield is too hard.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 wow this game has really magnified the Jays weaknesses today. Lots of offense horrible pen, and shaky defense you could say the same for KC except we know with KC its the exception.
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Yea bitches... It's one of those games.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Perfect example of why this team cannot be trusted to make more moves for pitching when they don't understand the importance of defense. We were hoping that they had come to their senses by acquiring Smoak to push EE to DH most of the time, but they keep finding excuses to sit Smoak. Goins serves no purpose if his defense won't be used. Anyway, I hope ownership comes to its senses and tells management they are not trusted to make moves at the deadline.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Kansas expects to win because of last year and Toronto after 22 years of losing expects to lose. ^ Genius here thinks the guys in Blue Jays hats on the field have been avid Blue Jays for 22 years and expect to lose.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Kansas expects to win because of last year and Toronto after 22 years of losing expects to lose. Then why did the Red Sox finish in last place after winning the world series? What does what happened 22 years ago have to do with now?
Ambassador Ch0n Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Giovinco 3 goals 1 assist. TFC up 4-3 with 10 mins to go. You guys are watching the wrong game. ;-)
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Then why did the Red Sox finish in last place after winning the world series? What does what happened 22 years ago have to do with now? It doesn;t hiring 3 poor GMs in a row leads to 22 years
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 all in all this has been a horribly played game by both teams
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Reyes needs his legs broken so he wont be a burden to this team The sooner the better. 22million could have been spent more smartly and fans wouldnt have to suffer. What kind of excuse is the idoit Gibbons going to come up with after this one blown away. We should all pinch in and pay someone to break his legs, lol. Ownership has insurance for these types of things anyways.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Russel Martin you f***ing idiot
bill Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 didn't martin do that earlier this year?
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 How stupid was Martin's play. Why didn't he hustle back to 3rd.
