Governator Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Are you intentionally being a naive idiot (not actually a question). The offense was playing out of their minds and here we are below .500. You must be an idiot if you expect this team can compete in the second half. A lot of it depends on what AA does or doesn't do this month. You must be an idiot if you think a team can't make the postseason being below .500 before the AS break with the division leader only a few games ahead. Your winning% means nothing if the rest of the division is playing equally as bad.
bluebird Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 hr coming from collabello calling it now

I'm really surprised with how well the Yankees have played....didn't see it in spring training with their aging lineup and Tanaka questions...but they have played well

FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Clearly. No team has ever come back from 3.5 games down. We're lucky to be in the worst division in baseball. Any other division, we'd be like 13.5 games down.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 The Chris Colabello experiment needs to end. This guy is awful at baseball, and it's embarrassing that he's ad 220 PA.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Martin has been pretty bad offensively lately.
