Uh.. they still have one more game vs. the O's. And they have to face Jimenez tomorrow, the O's best starter. And those Cards games.. you realize that the Cards lineup was heavily short-handed, right, and looks awful against AL teams.

it would be nice if some of our starters other than Buehrle can keep the other team off the board for a couple innings to start a game. It's getting f***ing ridiculous to be behind by a s*** load of runs to start off a game. We have a good offense but it's hard when they have to bat knowing they are behind by 8

 

Buehrle is the only solid guy we have just now(scary). Estrada needs to bounce back next start. Not getting much of anything else from Hutch or dickie and the revolving AAA 5th spot is a joke.

Aside from thinking RA would be more in line with his 1st couple years and praying Hutch would progress to mid to front end his 2nd full season after TJ, what did we really expect from this rotation when Stro went down?

 

Its an inadequate pitching staff. When all is going well we put together a streak, but too many nights we just have to score too many runs to W. We need to make a deal(s) to stay competitive or it will be "next year" again. Its playing out like most thought it would.

One starter wont be enough. Need 2 from trade, 2 of the other than buehrle we have now have to step and we need a closer. other than that we're good. lol

 

We would have to sell everything we have in the cupboard and then we would starve for years to come.
