Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Nice AB Donair. Ducks on the pond Pillar.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 That was a bad at bat to say the least I wouldn't go that far. He swung at a strike on the first pitch.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I really dislike a swing at the first pitch after a walk. especially for a bottom half hitter.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Let's go Statman *Clap Clap...Clap Clap Clap*
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Remy is correct, Rodriguez is tipping his pitches
blurnandez Verified Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Ugh. Worst part of this game is that I'm stuck watching it with a Red Sox fan.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I really dislike a swing at the first pitch after a walk. especially for a bottom half hitter. Yeah maybe he should strike out on a ball later in the AB. Bottom line is he got a good pitch, he just didn't swing at it well enough.

Jonzo Verified Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 This is pretty bad if we lose the first 2 of 4 against the Sox.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Remy is correct, Rodriguez is tipping his pitches Wonder if the Jays hitters will see this 3rd time through the order?

Bottom line is he got a good pitch, he just didn't swing at it well enough. taking a pitch is not a bad thing. It's not like he's been dominating like Buchholz yesterday. give him a chance to be wild. especially when he just walked Navarro.
bill Verified Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 this has to be the slowest game of the year

Don't know how you can chirp someone for swinging at a pitch straight down the middle.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 good inning. get back at it with the bats. Remy says he's been Dropping his head before breaking balls earlier in the season. was better with it early but has gone back to it. might have been addressed in the dugout between innings though.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 This is pretty bad if we lose the first 2 of 4 against the Sox. Red Sox have been playing better as of late and they probably aren't too pleased with us after we embarrassed them at Fenway last go-around.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Beautiful piece of hitting by Travis!
