jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 It was a lot more fun when it was a complete toss up on who made the GDT and how it would look so kinda like right now?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 This is what the jays lineup should look like tommorow Reyes SS Travis 2b Donaldson 3b Bautista rf Edwin dh Valencia lf Martin/Navarro C Smoak 1b Pillar CF Lets see how stupid Gibby can make it. Travis seems to hit well batting ninth, i think it's too early to bat him second. This is what i would like to see after the ASB.. Versus RHP Reyes (Pompey should eventually bat lead off, probably 2016. Has a much a better approach than Reyes, just needs playing time) Donaldson Bautista EE Smoak Travis Martin Pillar Pompey
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 This is what the options should look like tomorrow for the GDT - G Snarles - Orgfiller - Adam Linds mom Whats your beef against me bitch?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Whats your beef against me bitch? I love your GDT's. Saving you for the playoff run man.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 so kinda like right now? Somewhat...but don't choose someone just sit back and wait to see who gets the thread started first

baloojayz Verified Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Isn't this the first time AA sounds (overly ambitious by AA standards) adequately ambitious in his plans to acquire roster help (BP and rotation)? He usually is being mysterious and spins every question into "we want to do anything to get better as a team" / not the player we were looking for etc etc
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 I love your GDT's. Saving you for the playoff run man. That's what I thought.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Somewhat...but don't choose someone just sit back and wait to see who gets the thread started first No. GDT's are key for our chances to win we can't just wing it like putting Ryan Goins in LF. It has to be thought out.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 is Pompey doing any better in the minors now? last I read(was a couple weeks ago) he was still struggling? He is destroying AA again....needs to be called back to AAA to see if he has his head on straight
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 That's what I thought. Start stretching those fingers out. We'll need you in September.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 He is destroying AA again....needs to be called back to AAA to see if he has his head on straight Yep, and keep his parents in Toronto.

It's either time to put up or shut the f*** up and get fired
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 He is destroying AA again....needs to be called back to AAA to see if he has his head on straight hope he comes back soon. We need to have someone who can actually play left field.
baloojayz Verified Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Yep, and keep his parents in Toronto. Pompey just got nervous and started doubting himself, I think he will be real good next yr. Travis/Osuna for example look like they have atleast 2-3 yrs MLB experience under their belt.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 is Pompey doing any better in the minors now? last I read(was a couple weeks ago) he was still struggling? He's hitting well in AA. If he stays in AA and is still raking until the ASB, he should just be promoted back to Toronto and skip AAA. There could be something psychologically negative about Buffalo (coaching or just atmosphere in general). He didn't deserve to be sent down after 22 games in the bigs.. Ridiculous.

baloojayz Verified Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 real help, not a band-aid on the titanic move Yeah like #1-2 pitcher with control kind of help
baloojayz Verified Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Don't even know if Reyes should hit leadoff, his .obp is below .300. Isn't Reyes a really good bottom of the order guy? Should produce a lot of runs with that speed get his running game up as opposed to the top of the order where you don't want to run into outs b/c of the big inning. Would make the bottom of the order more scrappy. Who do we have down there that can do that? Navarro? Smoak? Goins? Carrera is not an everyday player
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Is it realistic at all to acquire pitching at the deadline while shipping Dickey to a 3rd team for salary relief? Boyd and Norris are better than Dickey already.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Has anyone brought up witch craft yet? The entire board should do that one night.
candymartinez Verified Member Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Yeah, you haven't read the comments on the average TSN article, have you? Can't say I have. Guess I better stay away. The caller who wanted Pillar to bat 4th was the best.
