Encarnation - 2015 best is yet to come?

Beltre just not healthy all season. His glove alone makes him valuable still. Still a force I think.

 

Edwin playing at 1st with that shoulder having to dive for balls is just pissing me off when Smoak > Navarro @ plate and better defender than Edwin who should be DHing.

 

Beltre hit the DL with a thumb injury and got rushed back because Texas had playoff aspirations. He wasn't right for about 6 weeks after coming off the DL, but he's been blasting the ball lately. His numbers over the last month are vintage.

Started this thread June 23 and the answer is YES for Encarnacion.

Agreed, he's had some awkward follow-throughs with his top hand that seem to indicate his shoulder is still bugging him. Despite that, he's managed to hit for pretty good power though. I do think he'll go on a big tear at some point.

 

Ya for sure (a few weeks later). Beltre is a hall of famer IMO no doubt and isn't slowing down as much as people think.
