jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 So who is doing GDT? I think a little sprinkle of Jonn in the GDT is exactly what this teams need.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Sure I will do it right now. Get to it
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Do have a question how many runs in the majors are scored in innings 1-3, 4-6,7-9 on a whole and on average? Is there also a run per inning as a whole and average? Does anybody have this info out there?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 kessel moved, thank god Get your hockey s*** out of here.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Anyone else notice former Jay Balbino Fuenmayor - who was always awful with the Jays is now chasing the triple crown in AA? Yeah he's old for that league, but that's quite the turn around for someone who's been tuuurbile his entire career.

Panda's was barely out and that's a short porch in RF at Fenway. the other 4 were seriously way up in the stands.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Hadn't looked at the standings in a couple of days. Baltimore leads now... Great. This is 2014 all over again. Now watch them run away with it. hoping Texas can not suck today. maybe jays are in first come tomorrow
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Lol Pablo's looks so weak The tracker must have f***ed up or something. Crazy how we have 3 absolute monster sluggers on this team

Now watch them run away with it. Ye of little faith. O's lose Cruz and Markakis but gain healthy Weiters and Machado. Jiminez shades of 2013. We are a different team 2015 with Martin and JD though...still need another arm(s) IMO and I worry about our OF depth, or lack thereof.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Faith is something I have less and less of with each passing year. It's like not allowing yourself to fall in love cause your heart has been broken so many times. It's a defense mechanism. I sooooo hear you on that. I'm a hopelessly addicted forever loyal Jays fan...but its painful sometimes. I like this team more than in the past few years though. How many more W's at this point would Stro have added? 2?

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Travis could have joined all of them as well :/
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Travis could have joined all of them as well :/ Doubt he would have joined them if he was healthy all this time.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Travis could have joined all of them as well :/ Doubt it i don't see him putting up those kind of power numbers i think his max will be 15 maybe 20 on a peek year.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Doubt he would have joined them if he was healthy all this time. you underestimate the power of thick glutes
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 FanGraphs: A History of Josh Donaldson in Foul Territory http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/a-history-of-josh-donaldson-in-foul-territory/ Nice article, but I didn't post the entire thing because of all the annoying grammatical errors and questionable phrasing. "If you trust the metrics, Donaldson is great. Also, if you a person who watches him play, you probably think he’s great." Sounds like it was written by a teen.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Norris's BB rate in AAA continues to be a concern.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 That's because he had a lower trajectory angle... in on the label and he didn't get all of it. More of a 2 iron shot off the fair way. bat speed is great, but it's not anywhere near as impressive looking as the others that were not only hard hit, but centered up and destroyed. Stanton is absolutely ridiculous. healthy he is one of the best power hitters in baseball. This is nothing to do with Panda. he hits some monster shots, but this is not even his most impressive shot. was this list done before Smoaks 3rd deck shot? that was crushed.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 He's a low center of gravity grit grinder. funny the same can be said of Pedroia yet everyone here hates him lol
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 who does Smoak have to kill to get into the lineup? 2 blasts yesterday buys him another game on the bench? bello better hit tonight.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 funny the same can be said of Pedroia yet everyone here hates him lol the amazing thing with Pedroia is the home runs he hits on pitches that are shoulder high for guys who are over 6' tall. his upper cut swing is off the charts.
baubau Verified Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 who does Smoak have to kill to get into the lineup? 2 blasts yesterday buys him another game on the bench? bello better hit tonight. It is a lefty on the mound. Sitting him today is justifiable.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Blue Jays lineup today: Not Justin Smoak.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 It is a lefty on the mound. Sitting him today is justifiable. I know... no room for him with Valencia and Bello hitting LHP so well. still has to suck for Smoak.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
