I told my brother last night that if the Jays scored early on Syndergaard, he'd get into a groove and shut them down later, and if he mowed them down the first time through the order, they'd figure him and stomp him the second time through. Little does he know, I don't have a damn clue what the hell I'm talking about, but somehow I ended up right.

Serious Question: With what Barry Davis just said about what Copeland went through to get to NY, why would the Jays not just start Dickey? Is there any legitimate reason why a knuckle-baller can't go with 1 day less rest than normal? I mean, it's gotta be better than a guy like Copeland going after driving from Buffalo and getting hardly any sleep.
