Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Atleast the Yanks and Rays are losing.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 he's probably right though. the gravitational pull to .500 is too strong for this team. He only shows up when the team isn't winning.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Atleast the Yanks and Rays are losing. And the Twins lost too.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Reyes cannot hit a changeup to save his life.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Harvey doesn't seem to be fooling anyone tonight so far.. yet we can't take advantage (so far) I told my brother last night that if the Jays scored early on Syndergaard, he'd get into a groove and shut them down later, and if he mowed them down the first time through the order, they'd figure him and stomp him the second time through. Little does he know, I don't have a damn clue what the hell I'm talking about, but somehow I ended up right. It'd be hilarious if Harvey proves the other half of my "theory" right today.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 I just don't understand why we failed to acquire pitching depth
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Really Barry? Stephen "Ameel"?
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Everything up the middle. I just don't understand why we failed to acquire pitching depth Allocated too much to AA's lunch budget.

You think one start is enough to "prove" a theory that substantial? oh
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Atleast the Yanks and Rays are losing. Did you have a teacher named Mrs. Logeot in high school?

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 If Martin doesn't throw to 1st there thats strike 3. Anddd it cost them
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 another free base colabelo gives up
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 gibby should be fired for putting this monster in the field so f***ing often it's sickening.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Gonna be hard to get 4 off of Harvey tonight.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Just need to split this. Win the next two at home. f*** Copeland.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I've had enough of Copeland. Send him back to the minors!
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Just need to split this. Win the next two at home. f*** Copeland. Answer my question?
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 You think one start is enough to "prove" a theory that substantial? oh I don't know if you have trouble with reading comprehension, but I thought it was clear that I wasn't being serious, and that I was trolling my little brother. That's why "theory" was in quotes. < Like that one right there.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 8 hits in 2 2/3. Holy s***. Not as bad as Eovaldi's 9H, 8ER in 0.2 IP in the Yanks/Marlins game. It could be worse..
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I've had enough of Copeland. Send him back to the minors! he needs a good defense behind which he doesn't have.

Top 10 Personal Catcher Verified Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Serious Question: With what Barry Davis just said about what Copeland went through to get to NY, why would the Jays not just start Dickey? Is there any legitimate reason why a knuckle-baller can't go with 1 day less rest than normal? I mean, it's gotta be better than a guy like Copeland going after driving from Buffalo and getting hardly any sleep.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Finally, Copeland gets somebody out. Who should start on Sunday? Him? Doubront? Norris? Boyd? Anyone but him...
