G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Dickey can GTFO. Yeah I can't remember any player the Jays have obtained whom I thought I was going to like so much who I've ultimately ended up disliking so much IYKWIM
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Smile f***er we want you out too. The only time i don't watch a game is when he is pitching because most of the time it is infuriating that he can't throw strikes. p.s just because you put a warning still does not warrant posting something by Stoeten
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 so if he leaves after this year, Jays will have traded 3 studs for a couple of mediocre seasons never has so little been gained for so much
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 I don't have a problem with what he said. Host asked him a question and he answered it honestly. He never said he didn't want to pitch in Toronto or isn't committed to the team for his contract. I'm sure theres 10 players on every team who feel the same way. You think Marco Estrada was happy he got traded to Toronto?

I don't think he was crying when he heard the news.

Zaun of the Dead Verified Member Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 I'd be cool with keeping him on to pitch out of the bullpen for a few years but I'd also be down with never watching this guy pitch ever ever again.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 I think we all know Dickey is gone either after this year (if he keeps pitching the way he has) or after the 2016 season as a FA. I'd say this is his last year in Toronto. No way he is brought back at $12 million.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Stroman coming back next year. With norris, estrada and hopefully resigned Buehrle we don't need him

This is the worst idea. Why would you want a 41 year old guy who gives up walks and homeruns pitching out of the bullpen? How do you effectively use a KB out of the bullpen? Matchups go out the window. Plus, you need a catcher that can catch the KB.
