SaskJaysFan_2 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 The fact that we need to consider Phil Coke to help our BP tells you everything you need to know about this season. Coke vs right handed AL East bats would be entertaining. He'd be a left specialist and mop up when game is over.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Loup has only walked 3 batters in 14.1 innings. That's a good rate. Redmond should be sent down. how many of Loup's pitches still haven't landed? not that I like Redmond either.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Redmond is amazing if you only need 3 innings. Jays should have several guys like that. The 5th starter on this team should be guys loaded with options and move them up and down, and piggybacking them in 3 inning starts. Not unlike some other team that has managed to effectively do it.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Well that or go to 10 Starters or eight! Pitch them 5 like we have and keep going next man up with only Two or three bullpen arms to fill out the rotation ! Five from Shanchez three from Redmond pen, five from hutch three or four Osuna no pen or pen! Etc etc etc and repeat!

King Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Redmond DFA'd Shi Davidi @ShiDavidi 1m1 minute ago #BlueJays designate Todd Redmond for assignment as corresponding move for Scott Copeland
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 They designate the guy that said the team was going to f***ing win? Funny and odd ;/

It's like when McCoy lived out of a locker in Vegas for a year. I think I'd rather do the 90 minute bus ride from Buffalo instead of the red eye, but after game parties in Vegas must be much better. lol

He didn't pitch well enough to deserve to stay.
LTR Verified Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Well, it was either that or Tepera to AAA.. they did the right thing to get rid of Redmond. He didn't pitch well enough to deserve to stay. Please. To say he "didn't pitch well enough to deserve to stay" is stupid. It's one start and one bad inning. Nobody should be judged off one start. There's no place in baseball for evaluating a player based off one start.

Whether he actually deserves to be on the major league roster is another thing all together, I'm not even getting into that.

LTR Verified Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 jays have a handful of guys on the roster of whom we could debate MLB viability That's true and even gives some credence to Redmond being on the roster... but again, I'm not even getting into that... debating about what kind of s*** you want to eat for breakfast.

AA made the team start the year with a huge hole in the pen and tried to make kids fill roles they were not ready to fill. It's on him.
flafson Verified Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I feel bad for him though. You DFA him, bring him back up for 4 innings and DFA again.
spats Verified Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Why not bring up Felix Duobront as a 5th starter? Move Sanchez or Estrada to the pen.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 You really got him there Didn't know pointing out a fact was trying to get someone
