xposbrad Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Come July, absolutely. If we rob and steal. The only thing I fear is that this shoulder problem might be a tear, labral/rotator. Then we're screwed.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 He's also projected to be at 2.9 war this year, what was he the previous 2 years? Again, you are arguing with yourself, I am not saying he's garbage, that would be retarded. I am factoring in his age and trade value. If you read my posts, I am talking about how the time has come to trade him, I don't care what his wrc+ is, it won't matter when the Jays don't make the playoffs again. It's time to trade him to a contender so the Jays can retool. 2.9 why? Uhmm......cause hasn't played RF, he's worth much more once you change his position value. Keep reaching, he'll land a haul bro, figure it out. P.S. He's been throwing on the side, originally from 40 feet, now 75, he'll be alright.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I think AA loses his job before Bautista is traded
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 You guys realize we have Joey Bats and EE through 16' right?

Aside from a great arm, I never thought Id miss Jose THIS much as an OF. Its thrown off our whole line up.
IronLadle Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 You guys realize we have Joey Bats and EE through 16' right? I think there value goes down quite a bit next year
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I think there value goes down quite a bit next year From say late July, absolutely.
Ziggyy108 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 (edited) I think AA loses his job before Bautista is traded I don't think either will be traded this year. I would be shocked if AA was fired before this draft / draft signing period. So I imagine he'll be here past the trade deadline .... Edited May 24, 2015 by Ziggyy108
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I don't think either will be trade this year. I would be shocked if AA was fired before this draft / draft signing period. Wow...same.
IronLadle Verified Member Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 If AA doesn't get a decent return for these two and we don't make the postseason then he deserves to be fired
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Jays say no Astros say no Answer the question you punk? Lol why and Why reasons?
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Answer the question you punk? Lol why and Why reasons? Edwin Diaz is an okay throw in prospect (100-150 range). Kivlehan is a non-prospect. Austin Jackson is garbage. Rodney is old as s***, bad this season and a free agent at the end of the year. Hultzen has major injury problems. Tyler O'Neill and Gareth Morgan don't carry much value right now more than a throw in, if that. Miller would be nice. But that's awful return for Bautista + Reyes + Cecil + Pillar + Navarro. Correa has the potential to be the best shortstop in the game, under team control for 6 years (and dirt cheap for 3). The Astros aren't trading him right now.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Austin and Rodney are to equal money out as both are free agents at the end of the year and Austin plays Center and can replace pillar there moving him back to left field ! Or play right maybe since bats never seems may never heal playing at this rate! You can Dfa Rodney no probs! Kivlehan not sure why but he can play 3rd, 1st and play some field and still young enough to improve, why can't he?
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Hultzen is nothing new to our pitching staffs of late, you don't think he ever makes it back? Not all about winning now and we save a lot of money to make moves with just this trade alone!

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 I would trade Encarnacion before Bautista especially if EE heats up he could bring back a significant return. Dudes knees are a long term.issue anyways and I don't think.he is another Ortiz
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 With the Batz trade done: Take Edwin dickey Thole and Marte and trade them to the astro's plus 8 mill saving us about 5 mill this year! To the jays Carlos correa, Jason castro, johnathan singleton and Lance McCullers While we're at it maybe we can trade Navarro and Buehrle to the Cubs for Kris Bryant No offense but there is no way in hell the Astros agree to that. Carlos Correa is an unbelievable talent, he is basically untouchable.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Why wouldn't you trade Bautista for some good prospects rather than guys you'll just dfa Read the above I answered it for you! So lets hear your big ideas, smart ass!

Plus gives em I hell of a shot right now and makes them a better team Edwin is proven and the rookie ain't ! Wtf
Zaun of the Dead Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 This needs to happen immediately. Build around the pieces coming back, Hutch, Donaldson, and the Kids. Do it AA. For FYSMC nation.

nonamejays Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Is there any reasonable way to acquire a decent starting pitcher or two without moving either Bautista/EE or guys like Hoffman/Norris/Pentecost?
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Is there any reasonable way to acquire a decent starting pitcher or two without moving either Bautista/EE or guys like Hoffman/Norris/Pentecost? Take back a bad contract, like a Romero

glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Is there any reasonable way to acquire a decent starting pitcher or two without moving either Bautista/EE or guys like Hoffman/Norris/Pentecost? Scott Kazmir?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Scott Kazmir? What do the As think of Aaron Sanchez
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Scott Kazmir? This one might be our best bet, in fact maybe beane would look to move a hand full of his pending FA to us! Kazmir, majica, Clippard and Zobrist For say Reyes, Estrada, Castro, Boyd, the pimp, Redman and Jenkins saving him money on the year too! We pay him 11 mill for Reyes going forward starting next year and pay the buyout at 4 mill
SAAviour Verified Member Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I think billy beanie is never trading with the jays again.
