JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Gibby just needs a beer and he'll be fine.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 It does matter. He helps set the tone. I'm not sure how much his body language matters but it is true that the manager helps set the tone. If you look at 2013 the Jays were fundamentally terrible and that could have had something to do with Gibbons' "hands off" approach. While you might be acting a bit ridiculous suggesting his body language is hurting the team there is something to be said about how a manager acts in the dugout and towards his players.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Whenever I see Gibbons during the game, he looks so relaxed and is sitting by himself on the bench. Other managers I see are standing and interact more with the team during the game. I can't see this helping the team in any way, as the leader. I'd prefer some better body language from Gibby. Lmfao People complain about anything christ
