It has to be a pitcher. If it was Pompey because of performance our outfield is even more depleted with Bats not being 100%. The last few games we had DV and Goins in the outfield. If it was Travis to DL you would think Muni would be up.

Guess Estrada to the pen. I mean I see why the sent Norris down, they just couldn't keep throwing him out there and only getting 3 innings. Jays desperately need a starter. Francis, Wolf, Albers are all junk.

I always felt Sanchez would be the first one to go, but now I get why Norris is down.

 

At least with Sanchez they can immediately slot into the BP.

 

With Norris they still see him as a starter,and he's still in dead arm phase, so letting him go through that in Buffalo is better than sending Sanchez.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Hendricks get a start. It'd be tough to build up the innings but with Martin behind the plate I think he could be a solid 5th starter.

Norris has been marginally better in my opinion.

 

I have no issues with him going down if he still has dead arm. Let him get healthy and get back into form.

Slightly better yes. However, Sanchez has shown improvement where Norris has not (due to the dead arm)

They have been comparable, and given the sample size, no one can favour one over the other.

 

Besides, pointy head, Sanchez would go to the bullpen before he goes to AAA.

 

Norris to AAA is not a demotion, he needs to work on things.
