Ed did almost the same thing as Lawrie did and the ump didn't take it personally. he could have easily been ejected there.

 

Yeah I'm surprised he didn't get tossed. Strike 2 was a bad call but you can't throw all the s*** back at the ump after the at bat is over.

Between screwing Sanchez on his first batter faced, and those "strikes" on JB and EE, this ump is a joke.

 

Now he doesn't call it against Ortiz. LOL

this ump isn't getting christmas cards from either team. at least he's a sack of s*** to both teams. better than going into NY and getting everything going one way.

WAR Question: How does Ortiz have negative defensive WAR if he only DHs all the time.

 

I think he has a negative position value but no defensive value at all

They have turned Sanchez into a version of a knuckleballer that throws just fastballs instead. Just like Dickey you never know where the pitch is going to go...could work if he throws enough strikes
