jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 5th in HR too. Yer dum. Problem is that it's mostly HanRam with those HRs(8), and 2 of them yesterday were in garbage time with the Sox down a lot.. and most of his HRs have come in losing affairs(doesn't that remind us of Vernon Wells?). And BTW, Ortiz is hitting .200 in his last 10.(.194 avg. overall), and despite his 4 HRs, has really struggled at the plate, looking like the 39 year-old in decline he is. And Pedroia, despite his 4 HRs, isn't going to sustain his power, as he has not for power in 3 years. And the rest of the lineup is really struggling to hit for average and power overall.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Author Posted April 27, 2015 10 competitive walks in 4 innings tonight. As long as they are competitive!
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Well don't dismiss the Red Sox offense. Dismissing them is like dismissing the Jays cause Martin/Bautista/E5 are terrible so far. Neither team has gone on a good offensive roll with all players producing close to their career #'s. Only question is when.

Only question is when. Boston's offensive is actually quite awful. Many of their runs have come via unearned runs due to other team's errors. Plus, Boston's offense has been mostly HanRam.. Does anyone have a list of teams with the most unearned runs? Boston I know is at the top.. and that is not a good sign for their offense, especially when they face better defenses.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Bautista says he's good to DH. let's hope he's not only healthy enough, but also got his hitting boots on too.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Blue Jays are going to hit tonight, get Sanchez another win!!!!!!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Bautista is in the lineup DHing. And that's going to be a tough lineup for a bad Red Sox pitching staff to handle.. remember, that staff gave up 18 runs yesterday vs. the O's!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 This lineup looks awesome
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Anyone else get the feeling Bautista injured his shoulder on the Delmen Young incident alone and not a week prior? More just a cover up story to save the embarrassment of having to miss games because of a stupid play that ultimately bit you in the ass.
Top 10 Personal Catcher Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but, has Pompey been demoted?
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but, has Pompey been demoted? Lineup card says Pompey is hitting 9th.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Lineup card says Pompey is hitting 9th. I think he meant from CF. lol
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but, has Pompey been demoted? Pillar has..............................or will be
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I think he meant from CF. lol Well excuse me then...

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Well excuse me then... no... lol
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Watching the Baltimore rioting up until gametime it's going to get ugly once the sun goes down. Police have no control
Sorrow Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but, has Pompey been demoted? I'm almost wondering if they might have him in LF because of a pulled muscle or something, just letting him play somewhere that he doesn't need to cover as much ground.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I like that lineup.. looking forward to swapping pillar with smoak though.
LTR Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Anyone know if this game will be played?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Watching the Baltimore rioting up until gametime Whoa, that's awful! Wonder if the O's will be even able to play tonight due to the mess in Baltimore..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Anyone know if this game will be played? As it stands, the Jays game will be played.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Whoa, that's awful! Wonder if the O's will be even able to play tonight due to the mess in Baltimore.. at 4pm they said it was still on. will see what happens when it gets dark. I wouldn't want to go.
LTR Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Bautista shouldn't be playing if he's still injured. He's gonna wreck his shoulder.
flafson Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Bautista is in the lineup DHing. And that's going to be a tough lineup for a bad Red Sox pitching staff to handle.. remember, that staff gave up 18 runs yesterday vs. the O's! We usually get shut out when someone says that...
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Bautista shouldn't be playing if he's still injured. He's gonna wreck his shoulder. Then we can trade him at top value before anyone finds out
LTR Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 He was gauging it on how he felt in BP. I know but he's wrong, you don't play through a shoulder injury like he has. You can try but it's not smart, perhaps we're just desperate enough this year to do these things.
