In his last outing against Baltimore, Sanchez earned the win despite issuing seven walks over 5 1/3 innings. Most of his problems have been related to fastball command, but he's also experienced difficulty throwing his curveball for strikes. Red Sox: Kelly began the season on a high note with an impressive seven-inning victory over the Yankees, but since then, he has yet to make it out of the sixth. During his last outing, Kelly took the loss after allowing five earned runs over five innings to the Rays. All of his starts this season have come against AL East opponents. Governator Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 What's with 6:10 start times? Beer time doesn't start till after 7.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 What's going on with Joe Kelly? He's always been a GB machine with below average K/BB skills, and so far this year he's a fly ball pitcher with elite K/BB skills.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 O/U +9. Yeah i'm taking the over on this one.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Sanchez's last start in the works? Start of a star in the making is more like it.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Start of a star in the making is more like it. he'll need to channel some Cy Young if he wants to stay in the rotation. http://www.elisaromeo.com/wp-content/uploads/blogger/-YCJOegmBLdE/UZNdZL0RMnI/AAAAAAAABjg/FIGGpfGD08M/s1600/Psychic.jpg

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Started throwing high fastballs more. Getting SwStr on them. Makes sense. Took a quick look at FG and saw his fastball has been good for him. Guy throws 95-96, there's no reason not to throw it up with some regularity.

MatBarnes Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Sanchez's last start in the works? Red Sox lead baseball in walks and Sanchez is a walk machine... recipe for disaster.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Red Sox lead baseball in walks and Sanchez is a walk machine... recipe for disaster. Only if the Red Sox actually hit.. they're 11th in the AL in average, with several notable low averages in Betts, Ortiz, Napoli, among others. And Bogaerts is hitting .129 in his last 10 games.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Barry Davis Bautista interrupted the media session with Gibbons to say he wanted to talk to him when we're done. Looks like he's decided if he can play
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Brendan Kennedy Bautista will take BP on the field & then decide whether he can DH tonight. No lineup posted yet. "We'll know here pretty soon," Gibby said.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I guess Sanchez goes seven scoreless tonight. I would give you 3 to 1 odds that he does not. Shall we bet?
