MatBarnes Verified Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 That fat f*** was reaching over desperately to try to pick up the ball. Ball rolls past fattie, white guy picks it up, fattie loses his s*** at the guy for interrupting the play. White guy panics and drops the ball out of guilt, fat f*** leans over and tries to get it again. I hate him. Rofl
5minutesforframing Verified Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Aaron Sanchez should not be pitching in the major leagues. 14IP 12BB 3HR 9K <----- Horrendous, even Romero 2012 was better. Thanks for your insightful input
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 https://gfycat.com/RequiredGentleBelugawhale The internet is full of completely useless things. This right here is no different.
MatBarnes Verified Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Sanchez is a ticking time bomb. He can't locate his pitches. He has never had control of his pitches except when he was pitching in relief.

There are a lot worse #5 pitchers with much lower upside, so....

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Off topic, but take a look at Buehrle's run support in comparison to the rest of the league: http://www.sportingcharts.com/mlb/stats/pitching-run-support-per-nine-innings-leaders/2015/
Travis_Snider Verified Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 7 BB in 5 IP is not getting the job done. It's getting lucky as f***. jays win. whatever you want to call t.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 7 BB in 5 IP is not getting the job done. It's getting lucky as f***. Aaron Sanchez today 7.95 FIP is Edwin Jackson at Coors field level
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 You're not seeing the bigger picture. No, you're seeing an imaginary picture. Sanchez is raw and rough and has many, many warts... But he's young with a power arm and can hold down the fort in the #5 spot for the time being. I'd much rather Stroman was in the rotation, and Sanchez was bumped to the pen (or, in a perfect world, starting in AAA), but for the time being, he's not the worst we could be throwing out there at the back of the rotation.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 holy s*** I love Travis. did we fleece the Tigers or what. And Osuna is amazing too.

I love this idea. lol

But he's young with a power arm and can hold down the fort in the #5 spot for the time being. No, he really can't. You don't understand baseball. I'd much rather Stroman was in the rotation, and Sanchez was bumped to the pen (or, in a perfect world, starting in AAA), but for the time being, he's not the worst we could be throwing out there at the back of the rotation. Actually he probably is the worst viable option. Time will tell.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 No, he really can't. You don't understand baseball. Ha, you're cute. It's too bad I'm not sexually attracted to stupid men. Actually he probably is the worst viable option. Time will tell. Yeah, right, we should be chucking Redmond out there instead... Or f*** it, let's bring back Gustavo Chacin or Josh Towers!

I don't know if I would call it a fleece just yet as Gose has been amazing for the Tigers so far as well. I think it will be a win-win for both teams. Jays and Tigers traded a player in a position of strength/depth for a player in a position of weakness. I would say the Jays were lucky that Isturiz got injured. Travis would have likely been sent down was it not for his injury.

Tigers got the LH half of a platoon with excellent D in CF, Jays got an everyday 2B. I like that deal for the Jays.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 There are better options than Sanchez though. Estrada, Osuna, Hendriks, Francis, Boyd etc. Probably, but my comment was literally "he's not the worst we could be throwing out there at the back of the rotation." That's not a hard position to defend at all.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 There are better options than Sanchez though. Estrada, Osuna, Hendriks, Francis, Boyd etc. when would they have to send Sanchez down to AAA to save the service year???

Sanchez is a terrible pitcher. He might be a decent Roogy RP though.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Well I am not one for thoughtful patient answers, but just looking at Devon Travis, I don't see how this kid is not going to be a major core piece for years to come. This is an amazing amazing trade by AA. Very happy with Travis!
MatBarnes Verified Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Ha, you're cute. It's too bad I'm not sexually attracted to stupid men. If you're referring to the basketball player, his named is spelled differently, so you can just forget that all together. Yeah, right, we should be chucking Redmond out there instead... Or f*** it, let's bring back Gustavo Chacin or Josh Towers! I said "viable" option, don't be purposely dim (or not purposely? Even worse).

Oh don't get me wrong, I think the Jays made a excellent trade. I am just saying it isn't a "fleece" by any means yet. I also am looking at Gose's numbers and damn, 0% BB with a .571 BABIP. He's going to crash hard soon.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 No it's not. That's his step dad's name. WTF are you even doing? woooop huuuuge derp by me. This whole time I thought Shipley was the real father and Sanchez was the pitcher. Shipley he is, no longer! Doesn't change the fact that he's terribad, tho.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Missed the game. 7 f***ing walks from Sanchez? Jesus Christ. Were they competitive at least?

Literally have no idea what you're talking about here, so y'know... Keep reaching for that rainbow! I said "viable" option, don't be purposely dim (or not purposely? Even worse). I was using the "reductio ad absurdum" rhetorical technique to belittle your position. Trust me, it was very witty.
