he doesn't and he has a Veteran's consent option. So he could block an assignment. If another team wants him, Jays won't block the move. If they don't returns to Buffalo.

Options work on a per-year basis. They can call Delabar down and sent him back up as much as they want this year.

Eating crow on this. The extra length from Francis is an asset. He's acting more as a Redmond replacement than one for Hynes.
