Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Just did a reactionary pickup for him in my league... Cecil was getting dropped soon anyways. 10 team league?

reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 10 team league? Yeah. I'd imagine he might be dropped when Nathan comes back shortly though. But part of me is really pulling for A Rod.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 When Reyes does comeback do you put Travis in the 2 spot? If his numbers are still good at that point, it'll will be interesting to see what Gibby does. Batting him fifth wouldn't be too crazy either.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Just imagine 6 straight weeks of Goins in the line up. Dude... just..... no. No.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Just imagine 6 straight weeks of Goins in the line up. Apparently, there is a chance that Reyes is just going to bat right handed after this weekend. id like to say problem solved but im not a total f***ing idiot

Travis really give a lot in the nine hole. it pulls the lineup together and makes it a lot easier to turn the lineup over. just look at our bottom third today and how bad it is.... travis keeps pitchers honest in the bottom end.

Sure, but if he's still performing and is one of the best hitters on the team he needs more AB.

That's not a good reason to bat a good hitter 9th. More AB's the better.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Bautista may not be on everything, but his plate discipline has been good. I'm not very concerned.
