NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Link Jon Heyman says "Mark Buehrle is considering retirement after the year, according to people in position to know." Not really any big info there.

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I can respect his decision to go out while still at his peak. Would be sad to see him go though. Love Buehrle, and it seems like he can pitch forever.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Link? Link CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that Mark Buehrle is considering retirement after this season. Heyman notes that "April retirement ruminations aren't always solid, but it seems to be a strong possibility in this case." Buehrle, who turned 36 last month, is in the final year of the four-year, $58 million contract he signed with the Marlins. The aging left-hander has remained effective, posting a 3.39 ERA over 32 starts for the Blue Jays last season. He's made at least 30 starts and pitched over 200 innings in 14 straight campaigns. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/mlb/3074/mark-buehrle

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Anyone been to Pizza Nova or gotten the APP? I went to Pizza Nova last week and picked up a mini calendar lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 The ineptitude of our gracious management and owners not to bring in starting pitching will be our downfall lol...welcome to the board.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Hotel wifi I usually walk with a long ethernet cable when I am going to stay at a hotel. I prefer to use the laptop in bed where it is more comfortable - The connection is more stable and faster. Just something to think about for your next hotel stay.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Anyone been to Pizza Nova or gotten the APP? I would like to know if it's better than the crappy Pizza Pizza app.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I doubt we take the team option on crappy Dickey. I mean he's disappointing because we expected an ace but he's far from crappy.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I hope this isn't another year of only being able to score on HR's.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I doubt we take the team option on crappy Dickey. Dickey @ 12 million's a steal.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Atlanta cashed runners on third with 2 outs We can't even get a sac fly we have scored 5 runs in 5 innings. We're not that bad.
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 How much would it cost to put an advertisement behind home plate Maybe we can pool our allowances and get a BJMB.com ad
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Dickey @ 12 million's a steal. Not really though. He's a 1-1.5 win pitcher at this point, which puts picking the option up in doubt.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Dickey @ 12 million's a steal. Maybe. He's like 60, and could very well fall off the map completely this year.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
