I really can't understand the love people have for it, that being said I've never played hockey. I played baseball and football and when it came to scholarships I excelled at baseball so that's what I played. Winter sports for me are watching paint dry, lifting heavy things and singing the time moving forward faster so that winter is over song.

 

Hockey reminds me of soccer on skates but is slightly more entertaining. Or basketball on skates.

Basketball sucks, seriously a terrible sport. I played for years growing up and got really sick of it. Not for me.

I don't mind the sport itself, actually used to love it. The ridiculous and excessive media coverage of it in this country has made me grow to resent it though.

Lacrosse is basically hockey, but way more exciting... AND it's Canada's official sport. I never quite got why it doesn't get the media attention of hockey, just because hockey is cold and Canada is cold.
