intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I love Evanka Osmak. She's charming and adorable. I used to not like her but the more I see her the more her charm wins me over.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Well, just got back from the game. The mood was pretty cool and Russell got a standing O every AB lol. It was nice to see Vladdy and Orlando Cabrera too. Too bad Jays couldn't win, but yeah, after the 6th, the lineup for both teams was worthy of AAA lol

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 The game itself was a snooze fest, it's almost like nothing happened for 2 1/2 hours. Was exciting before it started and all down hill from there. Way to bore the f*** out of a potential baseball market. It was a boring game, but you're gonna have those during a 162-game season. If a market's gonna support a team, 1 boring game shouldn't be able to deter it. Anyway...
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 i need to ask the important question here - did they serve poutine at the game? Of course! I even had one hahaha

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 She's charming and adorable. I used to not like her but the more I see her the more her charm wins me over. I saw her on the way to one of the Jays v. Red Sox games when I was in Toronto last summer, pretty obviously. She seemed quite short, not sure what her height is but I feel like I would tower over her and I'm 5'11" to 6'.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I didn't know Russell was half black lol
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Someone should post that Cito clip on the O's board.
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 So, why exactly didn't defensive metrics like Alomar?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Might get to see Taylor Cole pitch today. This would be great after seeing Boyd last night. These 2 haven't been talked about much but could be promoted quickly to Buffalo (assuming they start at NH) and serve as SP depth.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 No new GDT. First game since early Spring I've had a chance to watch.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Buck "He leads the american league in strikeouts", buck its spring training and its the grapefruit league. Get your s*** together
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Is it just me or buck and pat keep getting Norris's changeup and curveball mixed up? Meh, they get most things wrong anyway.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Buck "He leads the american league in strikeouts", buck its spring training and its the grapefruit league. Get your s*** together Lmao he's already drunk
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I think Gruber should go to Buffalo to comfort Goins.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 That's a big loopy curveball from Norris. I was hoping he'd have a harder one
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Doubront starting heavy ball program per Scott MacArthur
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 That's a big loopy curveball from Norris. I was hoping he'd have a harder one It's a good pitch due to his hard sliders and dropping changeup
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I've only seen one good curveball and that was to Bruce. He's probably working on it. Change is great though.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Norris wild today so far
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I think Gruber should go to Buffalo to comfort Goins. Nah,your mother has got it.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 They just called his changeup a curve...
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Norris walked Phillips on four pitches. Thats hard to do. Where are the stat boys screaming for Norris' head?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Buck and Pat always blow the opposing pitchers at the start of the game. They are barely talking about him at all
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I think I will end up stabbing Tabler at the end of the year after having to hear about "magical Martin", part healer, part psychiatrist, part greatest human being living and being Captain Canada
