RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Lopez assigned to minor league camp. Decisions are being made pretty quickly on the BP. Is Delebar going to stick
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I tried to upload the line up, but I don't know what the f*** I'm doing. Lucky bastard. Your guy Goins will be the starter 2B to start the season. BABIP monster is helping him alot.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Lopez assigned to minor league camp. Decisions are being made pretty quickly on the BP. There are "issues" that happen that we can't see. Lack of physical shape, approach, discipline,............ etc
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Lucky bastard. Your guy Goins will be the starter 2B to start the season. BABIP monster is helping him alot. What makes you say Goins will be the starting second baseman?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 What makes you say Goins will be the starting second baseman? 'cause Jays will go with 8-man bullpen and they need an 2B who can play SS. Tolleson INF - 4th OF
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Looks like Travis is officially locked in as the starting second baseman. I think that's what they wanted all along but 2 rookies in the starting lineup, 2 rookies in the rotation, and at least 1 rookie in the bullpen. It will be an interesting year. We got 4 ROY candidates. Sanchez, Norris, Pompey, and Travis. Any word on how long Izturis is out for (hopefully the whole season)?

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Ha. Is that something that can be changed? Would be nice to be able to post something and not be met with 'the file is too large' every single time. Yeah...uncheck the little box that asks if you want to reference locally.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 'cause Jays will go with 8-man bullpen and they need an 2B who can play SS. Tolleson INF - 4th OF I wish we could go most of the year with a 6 man pen. Especially if the powers that be want to carry 3 catchers.... yuck!
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 They won't carry 3 catchers. Either Martin catches Dickey and Navarro is the backup. Or Navarro finally gets traded and Thole is the backup catching mainly only Dickey. First one is more likely with Thole going back to the minors. I think he has one more option left but don't quote me on that. Gibbons has made it quite clear that he's leaning towards Thole catching Dickey. If that's what they do and they have an 8-man bullpen and 3-catcher bench, someone should be fired or ownership is as clueless as I suspect it is.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Reyes first pitch rocked for a HR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big year coming..
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Martin K on a check swing high fastball.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 The Dominicans killing Hamels, again (Pre-WBC)
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Gibbons has made it quite clear that he's leaning towards Thole catching Dickey. If that's what they do and they have an 8-man bullpen and 3-catcher bench, someone should be fired or ownership is as clueless as I suspect it is. They should further bring on both Smoak and Barten along with Valencia and Vicivedo, on the bench. 4th OF and Utility INF is overrated Need to have triple depth at catcher position, and depth at the 1B position Also carry 8 relievers to make up for the fact that we only have 2-3 actual MLB relievers. Gibby and AA's better bide their time, neither of them will be working for an MLB team again.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 JD grounds out to third on a nice backhand pick and long throw to first. Two out.. Valencia flies out on the first pitch to the warning track in RF. Inning over. 2-0 Jays.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Utley grounds out into the shift by Reyes on the second base side of the bag. Inning over. 2-0 Jays after 1.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Viciedo flies out to deep left centre. One out.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Travis grounds out to third on a sharply hit ball. Two out.
