I recall Stroman getting some time in the pen early on and that worked out nice in the end. If they want to give him a look at big league hitters, i dont see how a few innings in relief hurts him.

He touched 99 on the gun at GS, pretty sure we alll saw it. Not sure how accurate it is though, seemed to be reasonable.
