Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 My bet is it will come down to how we play against those Rays of TB in determining whether we make the playoffs or not. Yanks suck and we can handle the Orioles. That 3-game sweep to Tampa hurt us badly. We are 1-6 against TB this yr.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 A-Rod hits a 2 run jack to tie the game and go past 2000 RBI. What a great player.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 No we want the Evil empire to lose! f*** the Yankees !

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I wonder if A-Rod will get into the HoF. Hopefully a lot of the self righteous ******* voters will have died off when he becomes eligible. He's a first ballot slam dunk, obviously, best SS that's ever played the game.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Wow Don Cherry going off about the All Star voting. Trying to get fans to vote for Donaldson. Should get some of the casuals voting thats for sure.
labadee Verified Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 omg Don Cherry is ranting about KC stuffing the voting ballot. he's holding a sign saying #voteJoshDonaldson saying it's an injustice that he's not leading the all-star vote. Vote JD!

Vote JD! Cherry is a moron but he is right. JD should be dominating third base for the all-star game. Fans are idiots.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Don's the Bomb .... Truth!

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Richard Sherman made a tweet about how NFL players require more mental preparation than athletes of any other sport, and athletes of basically every other sport responded (including Bautista, who got more retweets and favorites on his comment than anybody else): http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25213730/richard-sherman-other-athletes-debate-mental-preparation-on-twitter http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/06/richard-sherman-jose-bautista-and-dale-jr-have-a-weird-debate-on-twitter

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 As someone who has played virtually all of them, golf is my pick for that debate, but they all require a ton of mental preparation. How would you even quantify that? It's interesting that Sherman created a debate where a bunch of athletes responded and I don't think his tweet was made in a dismissive manner, but it's a pretty useless argument.

It's my opinion, not an attempt at quantification. I'm a Seahawks fan, so yeah I kind of know how Sherman rolls.

Golf is a pretty good one. I think Bau made a good point with baseball. A lot of baseball is mental. You go in there overthinking, you're screwed. Get in a slump and think about that, you're screwed.
