And then Morrow starts the 7th with 8 balls in 9 pitches.

K's the next batter. This is vintage Brandon Morrow that we're witnessing.

This game does not feel like Boston vs. NY. No real spark or intensity between the two. Yanks should just plunk Ortiz now to get s*** started lol

Well one team can't get their leadoff man to hit like in the spring (Betts in Boston), and the Yanks pen is just dominating the Red Sox, like they did with us.

Also vintage NL baseball. #5 hitter asked to sac bunt after b2b walks from the pitcher.

If it's truly classic Morrow then before the innings over he's going to signal the trainers in the dugout for "discomfort" lol

Regardless no s*** talking, no chin music, minimal ump chirping the elements of a heated rivalry is not there

I really think the Brandon Morrow health concern is blown out of proportions. He's never lost any of his stuff (his command is a completely different story) and hasn't really had bad arm troubles.

No arm but a lot of shoulder and hamstring issues. That linger for too long. He comes back as a fireballer like nothing happened but he still misses time

Betts after that Opening Day barrage, including tonight so far:

2-15, 1 BB, 2K, 0R, 0RBIs. That's not a good thing..and part of the reason we're still playing at 12:00 midnight.

Shut the f*** up. Holy s***.

Jose Bautista had 8 strikeouts in 12 at-bats, I sure didn't see you saying the Jays were in trouble.

Morrow or Sanchez?

Considering that Sanchez may not stay healthy for long himself due to his mechanics, I'd say Morrow. I'm very biased on this however.

I'm not sure how Sanchez would fair for a full season but like you I think he'll get injured, and like you I'd take Morrow over him lol

Rusney Castillo is tearing up AAA right now, and may need to be considered if Betts doesn't adjust.
