I would expect a reasonably intelligent person to see that the idiot poster, TwistedLogic, did what no one ever does - quoted two separate people in the same post, and realize that a mistake was probably made in reply

 

Making a "mistake" by going off on a tirade to defend yourself in a quote that wasn't directed at you actually makes you the idiot. And I get the feeling that you know how much of an idiot it makes you, too. You feel embarrassed and that's why you're getting so defensive and bent out of shape over a mistake you made.
