tercet Verified Member Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 (edited) -The player who correctly chooses the most of the 10 players will win the prize pool of 50$. -Incase of a tie in the prize pool will be split across the players who are tied with the most correct predictions.(Maximum of 2 players) -If more then 2 players tie, names will be drawn from a hat -The last available date for entry for the contest is the first day of free agency(late oct/early nov, 10 days after world series I think..) -A winner is determined once all 10 players are signed for 2015 + season -Incase of a tie with duplicate -In order to participate you must have a reg date before Sept '14 -BTS/NJH aren't allowed to enter for being total dbags in the past to me The list of free agents are the MLBTR 2015 Free Agent Power Rankings Sept 2nd Update (http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015-free-agent-power-rankings) 1.Max Scherzer 2.Jon Lester 3.James Shields 4.Hanley Ramirez 5.Pablo Sandoval 6.Victor Martinez 7.Yasmani Tomas 8.Melky Cabrera 9.Russel Martin 10.Nelson Cruz Good luck Edited October 2, 2014 by tercet
RIPEXPOS Verified Member Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I have a weird feeling the Jays randomly throw huge money at Hanley to play 2B.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 There's already someone in charge of doing a FAP contest, sorry tercet.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I predict the jays have meaningful dialogue with the agents of all 10 of those free agents and come close on some, but just can't get a number that represents good enough value on any of them. For f*** sakes alex...at least resign melky.

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 There's already someone in charge of doing a FAP contest, sorry tercet. This seems totally different. There's only the top 10 players instead of the top 185, and we're just picking the team instead of team/years/salary/signing date/gender of their 1st born. And this one also involves money, and everyone likes money.
