I'd rather see Muni than Izturis on the 40-man. Muni is a better clubhouse guy (conjecture), with a slightly weaker arm.

I've always appreciated Kawasaki as a bench option. He wears down pitchers and is reliable defensively. Of course he has no power and isn't much of a base stealer, but if we can't trade or sign an upgrade this offseason I wouldn't mind him coming off the bench.

 

When I say bench though I mean 150 PAs or so, not almost 300.
