RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Winler:"You dont have to call only when Colby does well" Tony:"I would but the fans hate me" wilner:"No they dont ,they love you" Tony:"They hate me on the blue jays message board" Just saying what i heard. The guy also had same exact accent as Colby, and wilner has heard from him before. okay he might have said that, but that wasn't Tony Rasmus, that was some guy from Alabama who has called in for years. Tony Rasmus is on the radio a lot, his voice is totally different anyways, these shows are archived so we can go back tommorrow to see,

Wilner said,"Someone who Rasmus grew up with",at the start of the call. It,ll be funny, cool to me if it was Tony.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 lol a caller just called in to ask if Burly will be in the hall of fame
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Ok. Wilner said,"Someone who Rasmus grew up with",at the start of the call. It,ll be funny, cool to me if it was Tony. Right mate,
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Tigers with go ahead run on 3rd with 1 out

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 *BUEHRLE* cf I know that Burly himself said that Burly was his nickname in high school. Look it up.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Tigers with go ahead run on 3rd with 1 out And they don't convert. Still tied bottom 10. And now Cabrera is out (pinch-run for by Suarez)
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 The Jays not getting any help from the s***** teams tonight (Texas and Boston). Oh well. At least they gain a game on either Detroit or Cleveland regardless of that game's result.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Nelson Cruz hit his 37th of the year. Does that look like the best signing last off season or what. At least he wont be an O after this off season
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Link bro I dont have one. It was during a 2005 radio interview with Suzyn Waldman, I remember because it was a playoff game i was listening to on my radio.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 They should be. They now have to worry about staying in the WC. I'm willing to bet Angels have that division. Oakland is screwed. They had it when they got Samarjan, but they got suckered by Verlanders comments, and had to get Lester. Giving up your offensive mvp, never a good idea. Melvin is pissed right now.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Well looks like the jays will still be 4.5 games back. thats why its so hard to make up ground in the WC. They probably have to win 4 of the next 6 just to have a chance.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Yeah the A's did not need Lester. They'll regret that move when their offense has trouble scoring runs in the playoffs. Tigers scoring a ton in extra innings. Looks like the Jays will catch one team (Indians) tonight. Three more to go. Miracle time.

Replacing him with Lester isn't the cause of their troubles, it just happens to coincide with a rough stretch.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Right. His nickname, which is something that is said out loud to reference someone, was pronounced exactly like his last name. His other nickname is Marc. Some kids used to heckle him by calling out "Marc Burly" and then running away laughing that he didn't even know they were calling him his nickname, and not his real name. One of them went by the moniker "ReelAccountint" I dont care if you believe me, but you are still my favorite poster, and Im glad you took the time to post in the GDT thread I am a moogy supporter
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Buehrle's nickname is chinstrap.

They probably have to win 4 of the next 6 just to have a chance. They could win 10 straight and only make up 2 games. It's jot so important to have long winning streaks during the season, but keeping losing streaks to a minimum is the real key .

Going to need a lot of luck to get within 2-3 games in the next week and a half.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 f*** Tampa LOL lovin' it
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Surely to God Edwin Melky and Bautista can combine for 4-5 dingers off this piece of crap at Fenway of all places http://blogimages.thescore.com/mlb/files/2013/03/harmless-allen-webster.jpg
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 That piece of crap, likely will be a decent pitcher one day, he's just getting his feet wet. Are they still that hopeful for him? He's done nothing but get beat up over two short MLB stints.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Are they still that hopeful for him? He's done nothing but get beat up over two short MLB stints. John 'best stuff in the organization' Farrell thinks so
