gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 "relevantly remember" You should stick to big boy swears and nerd catcalls. Yah dumbshit. Are you trying to tell me your memory under the age of 15 is deep enough to have an understanding of the sports world and the general fan psyche? You're just assuming you f***ing nimrod.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Are you suggesting I should update my Commodore ? No Ken, you probably shouldn't. But I'm just saying that knowing your tech level
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Me smrt. LOL this coming from a guy that had to correct 'last' to 'late' a short while ago. Don't be a pedantic jack-hole.

kgm1 Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Prove it or you're obsessed with Navarro. prove what ? That Tampa and LA let him go because he didn't get in shape and got lazy. Can't supply a link . just going by what Kevin Kenedy talked about a couple of times on MLB Radio.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 "relevantly remember" You should stick to big boy swears and nerd catcalls. Maybe you should just stick to helping out dad at the Cash for Gold store.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Wow has Cecil ever looked dominant lately. Fastball up to 95 and the curveball is one of the best in the MLB.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Now other than the defensive lapse that was a good game .
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Me smrt? You smrt! It was "last" to "lazy." And it was an iphone autocorrect horra. And I hadn't just taken a drunken random swing at a guy two times my size. Okay, 'lazy'. I didn't actually check to see what you corrected it to - I just knew that you would go back and do so because what you posted didn't make sense. Also, do you think you're the only one possibly using a phone to post on here? Because that kind of assumption, sir, would make you a numpty, sir.

Can't supply a link . just going by what Kevin Kenedy talked about a couple of times on MLB Radio. No. Prove that he got in shape and that's why he had an ok year with the Cubs in a back up role. You're obsessed with him. He's a bad catcher, but it's not necessarily because he's fat. Jose Molina is fat, yet is in MLB only because of his defense. I'd bet the Rays and Dodgers got rid of him because he was a bad catcher, not because of his shape. Just google pics of him as a Cub in 2013 and you'll see he was the same guy. He's just a bad catcher.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Must be a thing the kids only understand, like Pokemon. Because that didn't register. I must not relevantly remember appropriate snaps. Boxy is quite the Pokemon fan.

He's picked up nothing but defensively challenged players and this after he said at the end of last season and during the off season that he was looking to improve it. Now, you can't possibly try to spin this and find a way to blame Beeston for this. At least, I hope you don't even try.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 nice win... great game from Stroman.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I just wish I understood how what gruber said is a diss, and at all a relevant one. From my perspective, it's just like saying "you act like [insert random Pokemon guy's name here]." It just has no reference for being an insult. It's meaningless. As you might be able to tell, my oldest just got into Pokemon. What a waste. Getting old seems boring. Bet your oldest is gonna be a sick pokemon master.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 So then you don't even understand it then? Again, much like my boy and Pokemon. In his defense though, he's only 6. #alwaysontheattack #refusestoengageinanylevelconversation #requiresupperhandateveryturn

You need to be part of the super top secret kid's club, it's an inside joke. Gruber and P2F are honorary members (especially because P2F acts like he's 8). Your son could explain it. The Cash Man is actually an awesome guy though.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 So, are you another one that doesn't understand what he was saying? Or just too cool to explain it? Again.. MY GOD
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 So, are you another one that doesn't understand what he was saying? Or just too cool to explain it? Yeah, it's a pretty exclusive club. Sorry Moogster.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 That sucks. Like a guy who helps his dad at the Cash for Gold store?! Amiright?! Moogy trying to fit in.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Moogy trying to fit in. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stop..

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 This was a great game to be at. Stroman was pretty much cruising the whole game, it seemed like he didn't even allow a flyball for the first 3 or 4 innings. Valencia's shot was gone off the bat, really easy to tell from my view. The atmosphere in the game wasn't the greatest at the beginning, but it was somewhat windy and I think people were cold, it really started to fire up right after Edwin's leadoff double. Cecil was dominating, awesome to see. LOL @ David Ross. This game brings my record to 4-1 while attending games on the season, 2-0 with Stroman on the mound.
