jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 No Navarro... probably due to day game after night game and a day off Monday. Also, Mariners lead 2-0 on Detroit (we need them to win so we can pick up 0.5 game in the standings if we win.)
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Jays just need to win and get back to 10 games over .500 and only then look up and see where that puts them in terms of the WC race.
SAAviour Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Wow, nice I thought we faced Sale this series!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Wow, nice I thought we faced Sale this series! We should have. Today was his scheduled day. But they wanted to get Carroll back after he missed a start (blisters) so Sale got pushed to tomorrow against Detroit. We totally lucked out.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 When you luck out like that and the stakes are this high, YOU GOTTA WIN Go Jays
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Melky bunts against a scrub. Reyes you f***ing suck balls. SLIDE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 This better count as blocking the f***ing plate.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 That clearly is blocking the plate...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 f***ing dumb inning by us But... Reyes stepped on the catchers leg which was literally covering the plate. How much more could he possibly block the plate??
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Definite blockage of the plate there. It's going to be overturned.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Still...Why would you not slide...
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 wtf is up with Reyes' hair?
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Surprised Reyes didnt break his ankle there.
ByronBlaze Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 He should be out just because of that haircut.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Safe! Finally some consistency!!
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 wtf is up with Reyes' hair? He must have been growing that mess for a while, yet I don't remember seeing it before today... Yay, they got the call right.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Good news is Bautista is on first too
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Has New York decided to stop screwing us now that we're out of the playoff picture (somewhat)?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Melky bunting against this scrub is a real head scratcher.
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 The rule does need to be changed though. Who wants to see a World Series decided on a play like that?
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Lucky for the catcher he stepped on his shin pad. That could've wrecked his leg too.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 wtf is up with Reyes' hair? He needs dreadlocks back
