JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 god not mcgowan You beat me to it. Of all people it's McGowan. Hopefully it's going to work out for him.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 For the love of God DO NOT HANG THE SLIDER.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 He looked a bit shocked by that.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 For the love of God DO NOT HANG THE SLIDER. If he does, I say they do to him what they do to a horse that breaks its leg.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 At least Viciedo didn't hit a HR this time. 3-2 Jays now.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Navarro cost us a run... lets hope it's not two
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Surprise, McGowan gives up a hard hit ball in a pressure situation.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Yup, left it in the zone, FFS McGowan. Wouldn't have cost him if it weren't for the wild pitch/passed ball. Get this last out.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 ball in the dirt costs us a run.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 navarro pisses me off way too much
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Navarro cost us a run... lets hope it's not two Should count against him somehow. It looked like he didn't realize it shot out/missed the glove.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Another one left right there up in the zone, and flat.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Letting McGowan pitch is like banging your head against a wall. Never a good idea. I don't know why this organization keeps forcing it with this guy.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 the fat slob and mcgowan putting on a clinic, very frustrating to watch this team
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 McGowan blew it. 3-3 now. Here comes Cecil. FFS..
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 They ruled that a wild pitch? Navarro had it and let it slide away.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Does it matter? We know win or lose the team won't be making the post season...
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Does it matter? We know win or lose the team won't be making the post season... sure it does, we're still very much in this
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Letting McGowan pitch is like banging your head against a wall. Never a good idea. I don't know why this organization keeps forcing it with this guy. It seems he can only pitch in a blow out or when there isn't any pressure on. He comes in, needs to get out of the inning and bail MB out and he fails. Granted the "wild pitch" should be a passed ball, didn't help, but with the stuff he has it shouldn't matter. He should get outs without much of a problem. it's almost like they want to give up the lead when they send him in. Glad he won't be back next year. I can't see them picking up that option. Then again this is AA and he loves his "assets."
TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 After 10 years of Dusty on the 40...it will be nice to see that spot finally free'd up.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 How much longer before Sept 1 so we can bury McGowan deep in the pen?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 BTW, Detroit leads 2-1 on King Felix and his Mariners.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 sure it does, we're still very much in this I wouldn't call an 8.3% chance very much in this. More an extremely unlikely chance they could make it. A loss would almost certainly kill it.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 After 10 years of Dusty on the 40...it will be nice to see that spot finally free'd up. AA loves him some hard luck story. fans are starting to hate when that hard luck story becomes sad tale of inability.
