comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Jesus.... Absolutely no discipline at the plate Juan.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 So many hatin' on Reyes yet they forget Bautista striking out when he should've walked....what can you do, s*** happens.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 So maybe that's why the runners were sent since Francisco sucks.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 im so f***ing done with this guy Flash in the pan he was
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 If only the pitcher was throwing cheese burgers.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 So maybe that's why the runners were sent since Francisco sucks. We need Lind back
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Why do they keep putting guys like this in who are struggling all the time? Guys like Juan, and Colby are ocassionally lucky. Sit em ,let guys like Kawa,Valencia, and Reimold play more.Isnt that why you got those guys in the first place. They are obviously better.
jays76 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Maybe Gibbons was trying to avoid a GIDP? Remember, they had just sent the runners on 3-2 with Cabrera at the plate so it would be consistent with it. It just didn't look to me like a straight steal...who knows. Perhaps but in the comment before I was responding to @eastcoastjays was stating that Joey's more of a flyball hitter so the percentages of a GIDP would've been lower and I have to agree. I think Gibby was trying to make something happen and force the issue unnecessarily.
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Jays have 7-9 due up in bottom of the 9th ... game over
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Albueryaiueyiuaweyiuwyique really put out the fire.
Spoonovic Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Jays have 7-9 due up in bottom of the 9th ... game over This. Only chance we have is for Rasmus to fluke himself into a home run. But he should never see a strike from the opposing pitcher.

I know it's Joey but I really wish he didn't swing on that 3-1 pitch based on Albuquerque's prior two pitches.

Well, since Francisco was up next, maybe Gibbons was trying to create a hole like in the previous AB when he sent the runners which may have prevented the Tigers' 3B from getting to Cabrera's grounder. At the end of the day, Bautista struck out when he should've walked, and I know it's easy to say from here. Even if Reyes had made it, I'm not very confident in Francisco getting a hit to bring Reyes home. On the other hand, you still want that chance instead of the strike'em out throw'em out DP...
North of 60 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Just saw who's up in the 9th for the Jays. This ballgame is over.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 That is some sick movement from Sanchez. Dear baby Jesus he's filthy.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Last ups let's see what they can do!
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Time for another Rasmus occassional homer.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Yeah. Colby will blast one against the homeless man.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Most important inning of the season since last game!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Just saw who's up in the 9th for the Jays. This ballgame is over. If Nathan was going in I'd disagree but unfortunately he likely is not available today

He should have let Joey take the walk and then brought Reyes home on a bases loaded suicide squeeze courtesy of Francisco
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Try not to pull it so much Colby.
jays76 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Our only saving grace is it's Joba.
