After going a season-low 2 2-3 innings in a 14-1 loss to Boston two starts earlier, the right-hander was tagged for four runs over three innings in Thursday's 6-5 win at Houston. Jose Reyes is a career .340 hitter against the Orioles after going 3 for 4 in the opener. He's batting .379 with 15 runs during a 16-game stretch against division opponents. This marks the latest point in the season that Baltimore and Toronto have met as the top two clubs in the AL East since Aug. 10, 1992. Orioles: Chen is 9-1 in his last 15 outings and has a 2.53 ERA during a five-start winning streak. Chen allowed one run and struck out a season-high eight over 7 1-3 innings to beat Seattle 2-1 on Friday. After homering three times in his first 48 games, O's catcher Caleb Joseph has homered in each of his last three games.. Despite recording 14 hits on Tuesday, Baltimore still has the worst batting average (.223) and on-base percentage (.272) in the AL since the All-Star break. Chappy Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Let's see how the Jays lose this one. The saga continues....
Chappy Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Break the streak!! Or keep it going!!!!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I like this matchup and I like our lineup tonight. We need Hutch to pitch a decent game, I think we can produce enough offense to win it.

I sort of do, but I'd much prefer to only have ONE of Rasmus, Kawasaski and Goins in there against a lefty rather than all 3 Missing Edwin and Lawrie
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 good luck guys.... I'm going to watch this one tomorrow during the DAY. last nights game sucked the life out of me and I'd prefer not going through that horrific experience to nights in a row.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Blue Jays manager John Gibbons named fatcow the starting poster for tonight's game against the Orioles Advice: "It's a somewhat puzzling decision given that the Blue Jays are in a heated battle for a playoff spot with two months remaining in the regular season. Given the opponent (Baltimore), and fatcow's season long struggles, the decision makes little sense. You have to wonder how much longer the Blue Jays can send fatcow to the wolves before Blue Jays fans bring out the pitchforks." - rotoworld. f*** off Gibby!

Anyway, I can only hope this GDT does not follow the norm cuz it sure is hard being in here with all the whining and crying. It amazes me that adults cannot understand that the Jays are at a disadvantage and are not purposely throwing games. It is also true that what took place recently was pathetic however they behave like babies who must win every night. Hope Hutchison finds his stuff early so as to keep the game in hand and that the "O" and "D" show up tonight as well. It would be nice to be able to sit back and enjoy an easy one for a change.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Meh.. I know Rasmus hit a HR yesterday, but i would rather have Gose in the line up and playing CF vs Chen. Rasmus will be owned by Chen.
