Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Offence has completely dried up. Can't win games if you can't score.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Buehrle has sucked for a month now....cant throw strikes and his pitches are batting practice when he throws strikes. He's the same pitcher he was in the first half, just not stranding the same number of runners, higher babip, etc etc. Buerhle is no front of the rotation pitcher but had a really good firsthalf of a season that perhaps made some people think he is a pitcher that he most certainly isn't.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 And Lawrie is... out of the game? Holy s***, this team.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 To maximize a return from trading buehrle we have missed that chance. In the offseason we will get far less than we could have at the deadline. i f***ing hate when people say we "should have traded during ". the people on this board act as if we're the only ones who know the true value of a player. GM's aren't retarded, they're not just going to look at someone during a hot streak. everyone and their mother knows what you're getting into when you sign someone like buehrle. the return then wouldn't be much different to what it is now.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 And Lawrie is... out of the game? Holy s***, this team. WTF? Why??
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Switched back to the channel late - any word on what happened to Brett?
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 It's like a revolving door. Start, get hurt, go to the DL, come back, get hurt again.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Same Jays team. f*** this organization.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Now down 2-0 joy. Bad news right after more bad news.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Oh lets play him in 3 rehab games and rush him back to the majors. Could it be a hamstring pull because his legs aren't in game shape?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Any chance they are easing Lawire back into the lineup? Someone needs to warmup...buehrle doesnt have many innings g left in this game
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Back to back? UGH! Where is the MB from earlier this year?!
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I think it would be easier to win this game if we didn't give up a lot of homeruns.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 This is why all the talk about Buehrle having experience is garbage. Blue Jays need a win and he looks like complete trash tonight.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 WTF? Why?? Lower back tightness is what's being reported. Sounds like a dead bench spot for the next week.
theblujay Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Lol I guess we have a good idea of where this team actually is. I mean we all expected them to collapse when they had that huge lead in May.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Lawtie had low back tightness taken out as a precaution
