Looks like they expect Wacha to be injured for a lot longer and/or they don't like Miller in the rotation and his immaturity issues.

 

Miller could very well stick in the bullpen or be used in another trading piece.

I'm fine with this for St. Louis. Lackey's going to make the minimum next year! That's extremely valuable. And I don't think Allen Craig is very good.
