Agreed. L.A's really struggled recently, and have a tough series with the Rays next, then a home-and-home with the elite LA Dodgers, a team better than the Angels. Hey, the way the Jays are playing and the Angels struggling, we could cut the Angels lead if we pummel the Astros. L.A's 1st wild card lead's down to 5.5 games, BTW.

while your theory is interesting it's flawed. lol if you have to win every game to get into WC, at the end of the season, you cant arrange your starters and will have to go with whoever is rested enough when the wild card game comes.

 

That's why I said at the end "Unless they were in a tight race". I'm talking about a team that has the WC locked down with enough time to insure their ace starts the WC game.
