CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 This inning would more than likely have been over had our intelligent manager taken his pitcher out of the game when he should have. I agree. He gambled by letting Happ in, and lost. But it's also Jose's fault. That play wasn't that hard. f*** me.
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 already 2 outs, why the hell was Reyes going towards second base and not getting to that ball? Reyes is the most overhyped and overpaid shortstop
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 already 2 outs, why the hell was Reyes going towards second base and not getting to that ball? I could he mistaken, but he looked like he could have made that.
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Bautista has to make that play, pretty routine
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Reyes should have enough range to field that in front of Kawasaki and make the easier throw. Bautista should have fielded that though.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 This inning would more than likely have been over had our intelligent manager taken his pitcher out of the game when he should have. There was absolutely nothing wrong with keeping him in there. Ridiculous statement.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Good for u..... Yup! No one should like him.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Wow Tolleson how are you not on 2nd base???
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Comon Reyes, bunt Tolleson to 2nd just like how you want to
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Come on Telleson go to fuken second there That's not alert base running there he should have had second
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I could he mistaken, but he looked like he could have made that. could have? should have for sure... it was right beside him and he went to cover the base??? Kawa made a great run to give it a chance. Jose is only filling in because both our first basemen are injured. funny how they hype how wonder McCann is for stepping in and playing first and there is nothing about Jose playing out of position.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Tolleson is a terrible baserunner. Should be on 3rd there.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Betances K's 2 minimum here - Book it
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Nothing wrong with keeping him in there? Riciculous statement? How about history? How bout the fact he just gave up two long balls the inning previous? How bout he's thrown close to 100 pitches to get through five innings plus a few batters? How bout with all that combined, you've got the heart of the lineup coming up? Yeah, that's such a ridiculous statement!
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 What the f*** is Zealous doing out there?
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 should be 1st and 3rd. f*** tolleson not paying attention and failure to get to second on his hit could prove to be huge
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Tolleson is a terrible baserunner. Should be on 3rd there. Should have scored there considering he should have already been on second
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Now if you bunt, they walk Bautista and fat man hits with the bases loaded and one out. Do it, Navarro had been clutch this year.
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 That's not alert base running there he should have had second Should have had it, just about automatic. Just one in a series of five or six small mistakes this team has made today. Solid fundamental baseball and this team has a two or 3 run lead right now.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Melky please don't bunt or GIDP
