Jays:


  • Dickey is 3-2 with a 3.72 ERA in seven starts against Tampa Bay since joining Toronto last year.
  • Toronto is seeking to capture its first series at Tampa Bay since taking two of three April 6-8, 2007. The Blue Jays are 19-48 at Tropicana Field since then, losing 18 series and splitting the other two.

 

Rays:

  • Price is 14-2 with a 2.45 ERA in 18 starts against the Blue Jays, including 7-2 with a 1.62 ERA in 10 outings at home.
  • The Rays will arrive at the All-Star break with their worst record since 2007 (43-53). This weekend's three-game series against Toronto will conclude a stretch of 17 straight games against teams over .500 heading into the All-Star break.

Jesus...the curse of the Trop just doesn't get any easier with Price coming back.....

 

Wish the boys could have taken Sat game.

 

We have beaten Lester twice this year I think so there is hope.

If this were 2012 David Price, I'd agree.. and BTW, this will likely be the last time we see David Price in a Rays uniform and possibly in the AL, as he is expected to be traded by the end of the month.
