Yes I know, but after one 15 day stint you can designated him again to another 15 day stint

But... there is absolutely no point in doing so, so why would you?

Its a 15 DAY dl. So if it is a minor injury, it will be 15 days, but it look like to me he will go on the 15 day dl for at least 2 stints

wow...you can tell that without reading an mri report....lol

If he goes beyond 15, it's not considered a second stint.

Hitting for power is a thing, which he doesn't do, and needs to in order to justify being called up.

Give me a f***ing break. He's a middle infielder who bats at the bottom of the line up and plays GG calibre defence at 2B and you're claiming he shouldn't be here because of his lack of power?

Thank God we have Ryan Sandberg currently playing second base for us.

Yes. DL days are days, not "business days".

Been watching baseball for 30 years and somehow never bothered to look into that.

They are business days though! The season is 182 days long. Players get paid by the day, not the game.

60 day DL ticks off during the off season, right? And it's specifically "days" as opposed to suspensions which are "games"

With EE out, this lineup is gonna look ugly.

AA needs to start making calls to other GM's to get a bat instead of ordering pizza.

Yes, but the DL ticks off during spring training and the off season as well.

s***** BABIP luck this year though..

Not even a .350 BABIP would make his line look good though. That's what makes his career 45 wRC+ so fascinating. It's hard to be that bad with a just-below-average BABIP (.267).

For the nth time, low BABIP doesn't always mean bad luck, if you don't hit the ball hard your BABIP is not going to look pretty!

DL doesn't apply in the off-season but I do believe you can retro-date DL stints to spring training.

I haven't been to this thread in over 100 days and your still preaching the same garbage? You are incredibly persistent, stubborn, and stupid, lol. I bet you have a mullet too.

You're a waste of f***ing time.

Kawasaki / Tolleson forever.
